Congratulations to the JV team for another excellent season. The girls won 13 games while only losing 4. The team showed much improvement over the season and overcame much adversity due to injuries.

Game Highlights
1/26 vs Sarasota
Last night our JV Lady Bobcats brought their winning season to a close. It was a hard fought battle but fatigue caught up with the Cats, falling to the Sarasota Sailors by the score of 38 to 30. Shuana Naudascher lead the team with 14 points, followed by Lindsey Adams with 10 pts. This week's 5 games in 6 days took its toll on our six woman team. As a team and individuals all our players had a great year and improved by leaps and bounds. Coach Hunt, and Assistant Coach O'Gorman are very proud of this team and look forward to working with them next season.
1/24 vs Lakewood Ranch
Last night our 6 girl JV basketball team took on the 5 girl Lakewood ranch team for a 51-21 victory improving to 14 - 2 for the season. Last nights game was led by Lindsey Adams with 15 points, followed by Alexis Mootz with 14, and Alexis Meeks with 8.
1/23 at Venice
Last night our JV girls played a rematch against Venice for a decisive 51-28 victory. Our team, down to only 6 players due to injury, stepped up their game in honor of their injured teammates. Shuana Naudascher led the team with 14 points, followed by Lindsey Adams with 13, and Alexis Mootz with 12. Nicole Connor stepped in as a starting guard and put on an excellent showing with 9 points and great defense. The JV Cats are now 13 and 2 for the season, and with the excelllent team work demonstrated last night show no sign of slowing down.
1/21 at Charlotte
The JV Lady Bobcats went to the Charlotte Tournament over the Weekend and Played against Vence and the Charlotte Tarpons. After almost two weeks without a game together the bobcats fell short of victory in the first game while knocking off the rust against Venice for a 37 to 33 loss. Then they came back after a rousing fast food fuel up to play a great game against Charlotte winning 53 to 31. The Lady Cats share a perfect triple scoring for the lead with 10 points a piece for Alexix Mootz, Lindsey Adams, and Shuana Naudascher. Followed by Marra with 9, Kim Richards and our newest point guard Camille Fredericks with 7. Way to tough it out Ladies!
1/11 vs Bidhop Verot
Last night the girls JV Basketball team defeated Bishop Verot (50 -11), making them 11 - 1 on the season. Lindsey Adams, and Alexis Mootz lead the team with 14 points each, followed closely by Lorena Marra with 12 points. Also noteworthy Kim Richards had a game high of 2 blocks,8 Rebounds and 2 steals. Way to go lady Bobcats!
1/9 vs Braden River
North Ports JV Bobcat's took on and defeated the Braden River Pirates with a score of 33 to 29 bringing our basketball team to (10-1) for the season. Shuana Naudascher Lead the Lady Bobcats with 10 points, followed by Alexis Mootz with 7.
1/5 vs Riverview
Last night our JV Lady Bobcat Basketball team took out the Riverview Rams in a heart pounding back and forth game, with a final score of 40 to 34. Our girls played a tough battle with three players out due to injury and transfer leaving only 6 cats to play up and down the court against a deep 12 woman Riverview team. Lindsey Adams lead the team with 15 points, Alexis Mootz had 10, Lorena Marra 7, and Shuana Naudascher 6. This win brings the team to (9 - 1) on the season.
1/3 vs Booker
The Girls JV Basketball team defeated the Booker Tornado's last night with a score of 50 - 14 bringing their record to 8 - 1 for the season. The team played a tough defensive game causing lots of turnovers and steals. Lorena Marra lead the Bobcats with 15 points, followed by Lindsey Adams with 13 and Shuana Naudascher with 9. Keep up the great work ladies!
12/15 vs Booker
The JV Bobcats Defeated the Booker Tornados last night 48 to 37, bringing their record to 7 and 1 Corey Kiel lead the team with 14 points and Alexis Mootz had 11 points on the night. The ladys played a good defensive game. We keep finding a way to win! Way to go ladies we are looking forward to a rematch with Booker after our Holiday break.
12/7 vs Bishop Verot
The Bobcat's started slow but broke the game open in the second half for a convincing victory over Bishop Verot 50 to 26. Our team is now (6 - 1) on the season. Lorena Marra lead the pack with 16 points, Alexis Mootz followed her up with 9 points, and our twin towers of the night Lindsey Adams and Kim Richards had 8 and 6 points respectively. Way to go Ladies!
12/6 vs Lemon Bay
Bobcats basketball team took on and defeated the Lemon Bay Mantas with a score of 47 to 42. The all of our girls played a great game. Lorena Marra Lead the Bobcats with 17 points, followed by Alexis Meeks with 9 points.
12/3 vs Riverview
The Bobcats gave the Riverview Rams a merciless clawing winning 59 to 24 on Saturday. Camille Fredericks lead the Bobcat Charge with 19 points, Corey Keil had excellent game with 12 points, and Shuana Naudascher had a "Furrious" double with 8 points and 8 steals. The speed demon quartet of guards of Mootz, Marra, Connor, and Saldana only allowed the Rams to score 7 points the whole second half dominating the ball. This game brought the JV team to (4-1) on the season. Way to go Lady's!
11/30 vs Charlotte.
The Bobcats took on and defeated the Charlotte Tarpons. It was battle of the baskets for the first half with Charlotte leading the cats 23 to 17 at the half. Our girls dug in the second half and tore up Charlotte 42 to 33, allowing them only 2 points on a foul shot in the fourth quarter. #52 Camille Fredericks lead the team in the paint with 14 points , with Alexis Mootz rocked out with 8 points, Lorena Marra put up 7, Corey Kiel with 5, Shuana Naudascher and Nicole Connor with 4. Way to go Ladys!
11/22 vs Lakewood Ranch
The Lady Bobcats played and demolished Lakewood Ranch 53 to 6. The Bobccat Defense was virtually unbeatable. Camille Fredericks scored 19 points, Lorena Marra with 16, and Alexis Mootz and shuana Naudascher contributed 5 points each. Keep up the Great work ladies!
11/18 vs Sarasota.
The J.V. "Lady Bobacats" squared off against their long time rival the Sarasota Sailors and suffered a heart wrenching fourth quarter loss 35 to 32. The Bobcats ran the Sailors up and down the court all four quarters going basket for basket and lead most of the game. Foul trouble came into play in the fourth quarter. We Look forward to our end of the year rematch.
11/17 vs Southeast.
The Bobcats took home a stellar victory in their opening game against south east with a score of 59 to 26. Lorena Marra led all the scorers with 15 points followed up by Camile Fredericks with 13, Alexis Mootz with 11 points Shuana Naudasher with 10. The girls all played a great game on defense causeing a plethora of steals and turnovers. Way to go lady's!
