Bobcat Coaching Staff

Coach Tintor
Varsity Head Coach

Tom Tintor is starting his eigth season as the Lady Bobcats’ head coach.  Over the past seven seasons the Bobcats have compiled a record of 112 wins and 74 loses for a 63% winning percentage. The Bobcats have advanced to the Regional Tournament three of the last five seasons.
Coach Tintor has been coaching basketball since 1971, coaching at the elementary school, junior high, assistant varsity, varsity, AAU and community college levels in Duluth, Shakopee, Hibbing and Coleraine, Minnesota. He has also coached baseball, football, track, golf and softball and is this year’s Lady Bobcats’ tennis coach.
Coach was a three sport high school star and college athlete, participating in football, basketball and baseball. He was the captain of both his undefeated high school basketball team and his college basketball team. He is a graduate of Hibbing High School, Hibbing State Junior College and the University of Minnesota, Duluth.



Dale Huffman
Asst. Varisty Coach
Coach Huffman is entering his fourth season with the girls program. Coach Huffman served as JV girls coach for two seasons. He also has served as varsity assistant coach in the varsity boys program.  Before that he coached basketball for fifteen years in Ohio at the middle school, junior varsity, and varsity level.
Coach Huffman is a graduate of Cumberland College (Ky) were he played basketball and soccer. He played high school basketball at Cincinnati Christian. 

 


Bruce Reichenbach
Asst. Varsity Coach
Coach Reichenbach is entering his first season with the Lady Bobcats. Coach Reichenbach has coached basketball for 34 years. He has been a varsity coach for 17 years in Ohio and Florida. He is the founder of the North Port Youth Basketball League, which began 10 years ago. He was a 3 sport athlete in high school where he played football, basketball, and tennis. He attended Akron University and Stark Technical College. Coach Reichenbach's son Jordan is a senior at NPHS.


Crystal Hunt
JV Head Coach
This is Coach hunt's first year in the girls program as the JV head caoch.She is the Head softball coach at NPHS and also coaches volleyball. She was a 3 sports star in high school in North Carolina. Chrystal attend UNC basketball camps during high school and got the chance to represent  the USA on the 15 and 16 team in  Aruba. She  graduated from UNC-Wilmingtom with a Mathematics Education degree. Welcome to the program!


Kevin O'Gorman
JV Asst. Coach
Coach O'Gorman is new to NPHS and will be helping with the JV team. Kevin was the Head Coach of the McIntosh middle boys team last year. He also coached a USSSA team from Sarasota. Coach earned his bachelors degree from the State university of New York  at Coblesill. welcome to NPHS Kevin!
